Law Practice

Debbi Korman has been a litigation paralegal for more than thirty-three years.  Over that time she has gained extensive experience, practicing in State and Federal courts, primarily litigating for the defense.  Her practice areas have included complex commercial and contract litigation; construction defect (developer and subcontractor); premises liability, employment discrimination and wrongful termination (representing employers); real estate; product liability; housing discrimination; professional liability; medical malpractice; and personal injury.

Education & Bar Admissions

Debbi earned her B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles in Middle Eastern studies, and her paralegal certificate from UCLA Extension Attorney Assistant Training Program, graduating in the first class of litigation paralegals in Los Angeles.

Professional Activities

Debbi was an early member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Paralegal Association, and editor of its newsletter.  She created a course for paralegals in document management for the Glendale University College of Law Paralegal Program, and lectured on discovery and trial preparation for the University of Southern California Paralegal Program and the Los Angeles Paralegal Association.

Community Activities and Interests

Debbi is an avid genealogist, having put her investigative skills to work on her family tree starting in 1988, and is very active in genealogy societies.  She and her husband also love to travel.  They have one son who is completing his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Texas, Austin.
